Pretoria, do we have a treat for you! Join us on Tuesday 26 April for an event that promises to be both an exciting ride and a delicious night out.

We will meet at Triumph Pretoria at 17h30 to Depart at 18h00. The ride will be +/- 120km and the route will take us to Cyrildene in Johannesburg. Riding at night will allow us to skip the hustle and bustle of commuter traffic and take control of the roads

For those who aren’t familiar, Cyrildene is the China Town of Johannesburg.  We love a good adventure and this is definitely a respite from the hipster vibe of Maboneng and Braamfontein. It is immediately recognisable by an impressive archway that marks the start of its bustling streets.

The language, building facades, and people are unmistakably Asian, as is the arrangement of storefronts that include supermarkets, restaurants, tea shops, fish stalls, vegetable market stalls, massage parlors, acupuncturist, hair salons, and a karaoke club. The street also has an authentic grittiness, which only seems to add to its charm.

The choice of venue is two-fold. While we like to do things differently we also want to celebrate that 2022 is the Chinese year of the Tiger (as Triumph fans we all love a Tiger).

On arrival in Cyrildene, we will be dining at the traditional Chinese restaurant ’Shun De’ at approximately 19h00. The cost per person is R180 and this includes a set menu (drinks not included).

Be sure to bring along your significant other and register them as a pillion. As usual, all bikes are welcome!
